Walk and Talk Therapy

Outdoor counselling in a calm, natural setting to help you feel safe, relaxed and able to open up

A Different Way to Experience Therapy

Walk and Talk Therapy combines counselling with the benefits of movement, fresh air and nature. Sessions take place around Hawley Lake in Farnborough — a calm, grounding setting that can help reduce stress and support emotional wellbeing.

Why Walk and Talk?

For many people, sitting face-to-face or online can feel intense or intimidating. Walking side by side removes the pressure of constant eye contact and often makes it easier to open up.

Being outdoors can help regulate the nervous system, lower stress levels and support you in staying calm and present during difficult conversations.

The Benefits

Movement, nature and therapy together create a powerful combination. Clients often describe feeling more relaxed, more able to express themselves and more hopeful about change.

Walk and Talk Therapy can be especially helpful if you are experiencing anxiety, trauma or feelings of overwhelm, or if traditional in-room or online sessions feel challenging.

Appointments

Daytime, evening and Saturday morning appointments are available, with Walk and Talk sessions from 9am.
