What Is Counselling?

A confidential space where you are heard without judgement and supported to move forward with clarity and confidence

A Safe and Confidential Space

Counselling can be the beginning of feeling truly valued, perhaps for the first time. As an impartial and non-judgemental listener, I offer a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely, without fear of criticism or judgement.

You are not responsible for my feelings. My role is to accept you as you are, so you can speak openly and honestly in a way that may feel different from talking to friends or family.

Working Together at Your Pace

Counselling is not about being told what to do. It is about helping you make your own choices and reach your own conclusions.

Together, we explore options, consider possible consequences and reflect on what feels right for you. We move at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

Over time, this can lead to greater clarity, confidence and a stronger sense of empowerment.

How Counselling Can Help

Counselling can support you with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma, anger, isolation or feeling overwhelmed.

Often, low mood or loss of motivation may be connected to deeper experiences that have not yet been fully understood. Making sense of these links can be the first step towards lasting change.

"The worst thing you can be is not different or awkward or too much… the worst thing you can be is someone else, when you were only ever meant to be you."
